This workshop focuses on best practices of toilet training for children ages 1 ½ to 4 years in an ECE classroom setting. Important day-to-day classroom strategies, rewards, and encouragement are all discussed. Learn how to use simple toilet training plans and communication to ensure success with families, co-teachers, and most importantly, the child. We explore guiding behaviors that are unique to potty training and practice using specialized tools including books, forms, classroom visuals, and other curricula that are simple and effective.
