Collaborative Training Model (support for small programs)
The Collaborative Training Model is a hybrid of Program and Community training where a school can host a workshop or PLC and also open up additional slots based on the number of additional seats available. Example: A small, independent school that has 10 staff that also has a 20-person conference room can open up the additional 10 seats to the community or another program. In exchange for use of the facility, the host program will receive training credits to offset their training costs. Host Programs choose which TWC training topic to host based on community interests. Training dates are arranged between Host Program and Facilitator and are advertised and promoted by The Wheelhouse Collaborative.
Host Program Benefits:
- Receives training discounts for providing meeting space, # staff attending, and # community seats filled.
- Training can be tailored to meet learning community interests and needs.
- Provides exposure for the Host Program through TWC networking and promotions.
