About Us
Early Childhood Education Workforce Support Services
Professional. Co-learning. Community.
Our Purpose
Our primary purpose is to provide a space or “vessel” that is welcoming, organized, and relevant to ECE practitioners of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
To do this, The Wheelhouse Collaborative has developed a unique curriculum and service delivery approach that is based on The National Academy of Engineering 6 Habits of Mind. This approach provides flexible structure that encourages 21st Century Skill-building not only in children, but all TWC employees. It is through these principles that we not only keep our sights on the destination but also enjoy the journey together.

Our Mission
To support all Early Childhood Educators on their professional journey through collective action and shared resources. To harness the potential of every person who desires to make a difference in our young children's education and development.

About the Founder, Shannon Greeley, MA
It has been my pleasure to support and inspire ECE practitioners for over 25 years as a teacher, director, trainer, college instructor, and coach and I am thrilled to be launching this independent passion project! I recently founded The Wheelhouse Collaborative to focus on what I love most, connecting meaningfully with ECE educators and those who devote themselves to children.
With my education and philosophy rooted in Social Constructivism and inquiry/project-based curriculum from Pacific Oaks College, I emphasize collaborative learning and establishing a Culture of Inquiry in all learning communities, with children and adults alike. As a Facilitator who is educated and credentialed in adult education, training, and coaching, my goal is to provide a professional learning community that is open, practical, organized, and both process AND outcome-driven. My goal is to nurture a cooperative learning community that values everyone’s input and perspectives with a goal of unifying practitioners through collective consciousness and shared goals.
