Science Strategies III: Promoting Investigations

Building upon “Science Strategies: Asking Good Questions and Diving into Discussions”, this workshop explores how teachers can authentically motivate children to examine their world through the process of in-depth investigations. Using the Project Approach as an investigative tool, learn how to encourage children to hypothesize, document, and experiment with their learning environment to evoke curiosity and a life-long love of learning.
