  This 3-hour online training explores preschool and school-age behavior (ages 2 1/2 – 8 years) and how to prevent, intervene, and follow-through consistently and effectively.  We will discuss and apply teaching strategies that address the 4 Mistaken Goals of Misbehaviors, and practice identifying mistaken goals and addressing needs accordingly.  Handouts and guides will support learning and bring a scenario or problem to share.   Attend in classroom teaching teams and spend time discussing children and applying these principles.  Brainstorm a plan with co-teachers to address challenging behaviors in your classroom.

  Nurturing Our New Generation of  ECE Teachers Community of Practice

  Monthly sessions focus on important topics relevant to Early Childhood Directors/Owners and the ECE Workforce.  Each topic is explored through lecture, discussion, videos, activities, and small group collaboration.

  Create new expectations and strategies that support the needs of Gen Z.

  And most importantly, strive to shift your personal and managerial mindset to accommodate and welcome our new generation of teachers.
