Welcome to the Support on Standby Guest Teacher Page
All hands on deck, let’s get there together!
SOS Guest Teacher Program Mission
It is SOS’s mission to provide a system of support that ensures a safe, educational, and positive substitute experience for Guest Teachers and Licensed Providers.
The SOS program provides a space for those who need or want a flexible schedule that fits their life. It is the primary goal of the SOS program to reach into all communities where there is a need.
We develop teachers into expert substitutes who thrive in varied educational environments and feel a sense of pride in the important role they play in keeping all ECE programs running efficiently.

Our Goals for Guest Teachers
SOS substitute teachers focus on making transitions as smooth as possible as young children typically do not like change, especially when it’s their favorite teacher who’s gone! Not only do we want children and families to feel confident separating from their children, but we hope that by the end of the day, the children will leave wanting more! From drop-off to pick-up, and the engineering play inbetween, these Guest Teachers have all the tools to make the day special.
Discover early education talent who wish to grow without committing to one program and/or a strict work schedule.
Harness the potential of a quick, easy Mobile App to get ECE teachers plugged in to the system and working as quickly as possible.
Nurture the ECE substitute profession with a welcoming online community that offers belonging, resources, and continuing education.
